Every year, I have fun posting sketches of my life (pets, partner) and having friends vote on the one they like best and then I make that as the Christmas card for the year. These become small pieces of final art, postcards, cards, or just a snapshot of my life over the years. Some folks have saved them and use them as holiday decorations in their own homes. Sometimes, people ask me to commission similar works for their own households or household pets & they can decide if want to pay for the original painting as well.
